Corinne is an award winning professional in the fields of corporate social responsibility (CSR), labor standards and monitoring, ethical sourcing and stakeholder engagement. For the last 25 years, Corinne has been working in the field of communication, humanitarian assistance and CSR. She has had the opportunity to work with corporate entities, the not-for-profit sector and international organizations.
Corinne moved to Canada in 2006 to work as Director and then Vice-President CSR at Gildan Activewear. There, she built on and led an internal transformation to boost a culture of social and environmental compliance and accountability. In 2012, Corinne created her own consultancy practice and has since been working with major brands (mainly in the garment sector), mostly members of the Fair Labor Association (FLA) and Ethical Trade Initiative (ETI) and their suppliers and licensees. Corinne has also been mandated by global investors such as the Inter-American Development Bank, relevant stakeholders and internationally recognized organizations such as the International Labour Organization (ILO) Better Work Programme to develop sustainable supply chains that respect human rights and environmental best practices while meeting business objectives.
Through her engagement at the FLA where she was a member of the Board of Directors from 2008-2011 and Director of Services and Training from 2012 to 2013, and at ETI, Corinne is helping member companies navigate the CSR landscape. Corinne is part of a team of Experts at the Global Social Compliance Programme (GSCP) and sits on the Board of Directors of Human Resources WIthout Borders (RHSF), a non-for-profit organization based in France.
Throughout her career, Corinne has had to manage crises involving various stakeholders (activists /labor rights NGOs etc.). Throughout her crisis management, Corinne was able to demonstrate a pragmatic and result oriented approach that has contributed to building lasting solutions. Corinne has developed a good network and solid understanding of such organizations.
Corinne holds Masters degrees in Corporate Social Responsibility, Political Science and English and an undergraduate degree in Law. She is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
