Annie Cheung retired in January, 2016 after serving two years as Vice President of Marketing and Communication for Pitney Bowes Inc. and established Pitney Bowes’ Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa Marketing organization. Annie had previously retired in July 2011 from a distinguished career of over 30 years with IBM. In her last role as Vice President, Smarter Planet Initiatives for IBM ASEAN in Singapore, Annie drove client requirements that aligned with IBM's innovative Smarter Planet solutions and local national priorities. Annie had started her IBM career in sales to major corporations in the United States with nine years of overseas assignments in Asia. She had held various positions such as VP Asian Leadership Initiative working with major corporations and institutions to capture Asian and Asian American market growth opportunities and development of global Asian leaders. Annie was also VP, Channel Marketing for IBM Global General Business, with responsibility for the development; enablement and execution of the channel strategy in support $16B of revenue.
Annie was born and raised in Hong Kong and received her college education in the U.S. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Annie continues to be very involved in Asian market and leadership development and had served on the boards of OCA and APIASF. Annie is currently on the board of Umalia Inc. in Montreal with focus on corporate social responsibilities.
